Singtel has just announced a new package called Season Pass, which allow mio TV subscribers to catch the latest top US series as early as 24 hours after US telecast. More than 50 red hot series will be shown including Prison Break (Season 4), Lost (Season 5), Ugly Betty (Season 3) and etc.
In order for subscribers to catch up with these series, mio TV is also offering an adhoc service Favourite-On-Demand, so that subscribers can watch the immediate past season of these series within next three months. This service cost $9.99 per month and ends at 31 Oct.
Well, I have to say, this is definitely a good news to consumers, especially for people that like to watch US series. As for people that resort to illegal downloads due to the lack of such service currently, it all depends on how much will mio TV charge.
I would probably subscribe to its service, if they charge less than $20 per month with unlimited titles of series. Hahaha... Am I dreaming?
